You can read about the BNC Software we will be using here -> http://shroudbnc.info/About.aspx
We need at least 10 people to make this work. If you are interested PLEASE email bnc at mozor.net or richard at mozor.net

I'm looking for a few members whom are willing to volunteer some time to help expand our ever growing network's website. We are looking for some members who are familiar with web development (html/css/php/mysql/perl/etc). Will be recoding the website, adding more features to it, and plan more features that can benefit users of our network.

We will be developing multiple sites within the network too, it can turn into a paid job!
Please reply or email me to apply.

Possible Switch To Atheme from Anope

We've been considering switching our services from Anope over to Atheme.

With Atheme it provides a much better channel control with the use of flags.

Quote:[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- Permissions:
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +v - Enables use of the voice/devoice commands.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +V - Enables automatic voice.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +h - Enables use of the halfop/dehalfop commands.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +H - Enables automatic halfop.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +o - Enables use of the op/deop commands.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +O - Enables automatic op.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +a - Enables use of the protect/deprotect commands.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +q - Enables use of the owner/deowner commands.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +s - Enables use of the set command.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +i - Enables use of the invite and getkey commands.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +r - Enables use of the kick, ban, and kickban commands.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +R - Enables use of the recover and clear commands.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +f - Enables modification of channel access lists.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +t - Enables use of the topic and topicappend commands.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +A - Enables viewing of channel access lists.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +F - Grants full founder access.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- +b - Enables automatic kickban.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ-
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- The special permission +* adds all permissions except +b and +F.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- The special permission -* removes all permissions including +b and +F.
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ-
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- Examples:
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- /msg ChanServ FLAGS #foo
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- /msg ChanServ FLAGS #foo foo!*@bar.com VOP
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- /msg ChanServ FLAGS #foo foo!*@bar.com -V+oO
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- /msg ChanServ FLAGS #foo foo!*@bar.com -*
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- /msg ChanServ FLAGS #foo foo +oOtsi
[09:50:21 PM] -ChanServ- /msg ChanServ FLAGS #foo TroubleUser!*@*.troubleisp.net +b

So, if you want to grant certain users of your channel to be able to give folks voice, you can give them that flag, or possibly half op. Give them the flag. So far it seems fairly cool.

We're running a copy of atheme on our test network over at irc://testnet.mozor.net
If you're interested in giving it a look and telling us what you think, it would be greatly appreciated!

Note: Users would have to re-register all channels. I will try my best to keep nicks intact.
